skyview mini package

for those of us who don't want to rip out our old panels and start anew, how about SkyView in a small package (similar to the D10A but not so long).

MGL Extreme package shows it can be done.

I can envision having 2 such units installed, one above another, with EFIS on one and HSI/Autopilot control or mapping on the other.

engine monitoring is not a priority for me.

if the MGL Extreme finally gets autopilot software out this would be an alternative albeit inferior to dynon.

I support fully this idea. It would be good to have an EFIS Skyview 4 inches available. That would allow to have a backup EFIS connected to the skyview system. Not like today the D10A/D6 where you need to separately enter the baro setting.

It would appear to be a logical step for Dynon to maximize its great SkyView software by packaging it in another hardware format.

whilst my 10 year old D10A continues to work well I would like to upgrade to SkyView presentation and features without scrapping my existing panel.

I live in hope
