Gentlemen,

I recently bought a new to me RV10 with a single display Skyview system.
I am getting the following error:
Skyview Network connection fault - Data 2 pair (Pins 4 & 8)
The same error message is showing up for the following devices:
SV-ARINC-429
SV-AP-Panel
SV-Knob-panel

As a person totally unfamiliar with Skyview and not having a network test cable, I need your direction and hand holding on where to start this venture down the rabbit hole.
Because it is the same error for 3 devices my thinking is that it might be a single location that is causing the the multiple errors.

Suggest you download and have available for reference SkyView System Installation Guide, Revision W. See the discussion of this issue SkyView Reports STANDBY NETWORK ERROR beginning on Page 21-11.

Because the SV-AP-PANEL and SV-KNOB-PANEL have 2 SkyView Network connectors, likely there is a daisy chain connection such as:
SV display <---> SV-KNOB-PANEL <---> SV-AP-PANEL <---> SV-ARINC-429.

Please contact Dynon Avionics Sales to obtain a replacement SV-NET-TEST cable; when you obtain that, swap that out for each SkyView Network cable in the chain of those devices until the error disappears.
