SkyView Network Wiring Hub

This is a heads up to list members on a new product we are just introducing:  a five channel SVN wiring hub.

Earlier this year, we intro'd a wiring hub for managing the RS-232 and related signals from Dynon SkyView EFIS systems (called the AXIS-15A).  See the thread http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1290017431/14#14.

Now, we are about to introduce a similar function for the SVN.  The AXIS-9A will take a single SVN connection and expand it into four SVN connections (a total of five connectors).  This replaces three SVN Splitters at a lower cost, weighs less and occupies less space.

It's ideal for behind the panel connections (2xSV, EMS, ARINC, Autopilot....) or it can be put elsewhere in the aircraft where multiple splitters would normally be required.

And to add insult to injury, we have just release two other wiring hubs in addition to the AXIS-9A (above) and the AXIS-15A (RS-232 thread).

They are the AXIS-25A and GBX-25A.  The AXIS-25A is a 25-wire, five connector hub, while the GBX-25A is a 25-wire ground (or power) distribution block.

The boards won't have enclosures. This reduces size, weight and cost (especially cost). If mounted in an exposed location, you may fabricate an aluminum shroud if you wish, but most installations will be well protected behind an instrument panel.

If you want fully enclosed versions, you can use the hubs from Approach Fast Stack. They start at around $500, plus the cost of customized wiring harnesses.
