SkyView OS location?

Hello! I'd like to ask, where exactly is the SkyView OS actually embedded? I'm asking with reference to redundancy.e.g. if I have two ADAHRS and one fails completely I'll have the red X on the screen as per the manual. Is there a separate module housing the electronics and OS that actually compares the two and flashes the X or is that all located within the housing of the PFD itself? I just want to make sure I don't miss anything out when I'm putting the system together.

The OS is in the screen(s), and all of the failure detection happens there. So essentially, yes, there is a box separate from the ADAHRS that is checking it. Also, there is another layer that manages the communication between modules on dual redundant data busses, so that even if a module were to fail in some way that corrupts the data, all of the modules on SkyView Network continue to operate (and SkyView will even tell you there is a network issue).

Alright then! Thanks a lot! :)
