SkyView practice

Can a SkyView D1000 in the 3000 serial number range be powered and played with before installation? If so please advise what may be observed and what not.

There isn't a "demo" mode, but, if you have it connected to an ADAHRS, EMS (which are both SkyView Network, and essentially plug and play with the 9 pin cables) and GPS (4 wires), plus power/ground, you can play with virtually all of the core features of the PFD, EMS, and MAP.
