On my Skyview, I’m getting the following message- B/U Batt Low Charge. The last time I did the backup battery test, it passed. My volt meter is showing 13.8 volts during flight, what is the best way to check my backup battery? The battery is app 3 years old.

Thanks

I believe that it takes about 4 hours of flight to charge the backup battery. When I do the backup battery test, I put a charger on the aircraft battery overnight and turn on the master so that Skyview is on. You need a charger that doesn't switch on and off and supplies >4A.

Check to make sure the charger is supplying enough amps to run Skyview and charge the backup battery. There is a page in Skyview Setup that shows the battery and charge status.
