For two years I have been shutting down my system by pressing buttons 1 & 2 simultaneously.  Yesterday after installing the latest DB update.  It will not shut down using these buttons.  Buttons function normally individually when sky view is powered up.  Now I have to let the back up battery time out or presses the shut down button which is button 3 or 4 i think.  What would cause this change.  I am running the latest firmware available.

The one/two button press maybe worked but I don't believe it is a documented combination. These are the button functions that I know of:

Button 1: Hold to shut down or hold to turn on Skyview - page 1-2 of the Installation Guide
Button 1,2,5: Press all together to reboot Skyview - page 3-7 of the Installation Guide
Button 2,7: Press together for Screenshot - page 20-1 of the Installation Guide
Button 7,8: Hold to enter setup menu. - page 1-3 of the Installation Guide

You know what. For some reason I suddenly thought it was 1&2 together instead of just Button 1. Senility is setting in. Thanks

I do believe we made a change about a year ago that would prevent button 1&2 at the same time from shutting down the system where it likely worked before. This was made to protect against some other weird inputs and this would be a side effect.

But as was mentioned, the correct action is just button 1 for 2 seconds. If just button 1 isn't working, then something odd is up.
