Skyview synchro course back to Garmin 530

If the Garmin 530 is connected via the ARINC 429 module to the Skyview can the GPS course selector on the HSI drive the Garmin course if the Garmin is in OBS mode?

This allows drawing a magenta line on the Garmin at any radial. Useful for intercepting the 350 degree radial of any fix set in the Garmin.

It is not working in my installation. Looks like the ARINC in # 1 on the Garmin is for my GTX 330 TXPDR. SHould I attach the Skyview ARINC out to ARINC #2 in on the GArmin?

As long as you can set the ports on each device appropriately (we didn't test on every port), that should be fine. There have been some devices in which format X might only work on port Y, but I don't think this is the case on these products.
