With Skyview touch, when you touch a frequency on skyview screen, does it put that frequency into the Com radio? (assuming you have a compatible radio set up correctly of course)

There's a TUNE COM button on pages that have lists of frequencies. But we've found that most people never even need to go into the on-screen menus and look up an actual frequency because the radio's dedicated tuning buttons on the control panel make tuning even quicker.

OK, that went clear over my head! Got a reference I can look that up?

In the first picture, whatever you're highlighting when you press the TUNE COM button at the bottom of the screen will be loaded into the standby position in the radio. But, if you look at the radio, you can also use the control panel to simply press the TWR/ATIS/ATC/GND buttons once you've loaded your airport to tune them without ever having to look them up explicitly.

OK, I understand now. I have an sl30 though that don't offer me that option. I spent an hour sitting there getting familiar with using frequencies and it is making more sense now.

Is there any way to adjust the squelch on the dynon com other than through the Skyview setup menu? I am surprised that there isn't a way on the radio itself????

You can open up squelch (monitor) from the control panel entirely, but the deeper adjustment is in SkyView only.
