Thanks mmarien. We've learned a lot about updating units and how to best upset customers (have an update process that when it rarely fails requires that the unit be sent back for repair). One of the architectural differences is SkyView is that it's much less susceptible to update failures (some of us WOULD say they're insusceptible, but if we said that, Murphy's Law would strike), The screens can also update any of the modules whenever it sees them, so screens can be updated whereever,whenever, and then the modules get their latest firmware when they're next detected.
Finally, even if yo do manage to complete fail a unit during an update, we have special USB sticks that can "re-image" all but actually electrically broken units and bring them back to life.
