Have you tried using our autopilot tuning guide at http://docs.dynonavionics.com? I'll ask our resident Sonex owner/operator to chime in with what works for his aircraft, but, going through the full tuning procedure is definitely the best way to start.

Miguel,
1. Is the servo slipping?
2. What system do you have running the autopilot (SkyView, D180, etc)?
3. What hole on the servo arm is the pushrod connected to?
4. What are your current servo settings at?
5. Is this installed in a single or duel stick Sonex
6. Are you getting any kind of error on the screen ("SLIP" etc.)?
7. Can you attach pictures of your installation?

1.- Yes, I have read the read and used the Dynon user guide to install and adjust the autopilot (and understood)
2.- The servo is not slipping.
3.- Installed in a D-180, 5.5 software.
4,- the pushrod is in the outermost hole of the servo arm.
5.- Torque 100% Sensivity 20,Turn rate 3º sec. Max bank angle 35º
6.- No any error in the screen for turn servo.
7.- Installed in dual stick controls¡.
8.- No pictures but the installation in fine per Dynon drawings instalation drawings.

Thank for your support.
any suggestion ?
Miguel.

No suggestions yet just more questions.

1. Does the plane fly level without the AP engaged?
2. Can you send us the flight data log (please set it to 1 sec interval)
3. Since the D180 does not allow screen shots it would be helpful to have a picture of the screen in flight when the AP is behaving as you describe.

Data Logging information can be found on page 9-2 in the Users Guide.

The more information we have the better we can help you solve the problem. We prefer not to speculate on solutions as we don't want to cause problems by trying to fix this one.

I'm confident we can solve the problem if we have enough information.

After my last Saturday flight, and setting the turn rate limit to 0, everything was going perfect, the Sonex flew level and straight riding over the course line in the Garmin 495 that control in mode NAV the autopilot whit no too much excessive rolling, only the necessary to follow the course line feeling a comfortable flight.
I think now is a optimum setting for a long trip flight.
Thanks for your support.

Any way, still I would like to compare my autopilot settings parameters, whit other fellow flying Sonex and Dynon D-180 autopilot settings.

Miguel.
