Special Rules Areas in South Africa (Jeppesen)

We have special Rules areas active around the major airports in South Africa.
I use the Jeppesen Aviation Data as I have used with my Garmin 296 in my earlier plane.
The mentioned areas were available on GPS but not on Skyview with Jeppesen.
When I contacted Jeppesen/Dynon they agreed that for some unknown reason it was not shown.
Both companies promised that this will be sorted in probably April.
The latest version of Jeppesen was installed over the weekend and still the same. No Special Rules Areas.
Jeppesen sent me screenshot of the info supplied to Dynon to activate this.
1.Correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the Jeppesen Info is supplied to Dynon for Dynon to make this Dynon friendly and the returned to Jeppesen for Jeppesen to market this.

2. Do you agree with all of the above or do you consider the end May version available from Jeppesen to be SRA friendly?

3.If so, is there a setting I need to enable/change to be able to see the SRA.

I really enjoy my Skyview 10” in my Gyroplane and can recommend this any day.

1) It's complicated, but that's immaterial to solving your problem. Can you forward your email from Jepp to us at support at dynonavionics dot com (with a link to this thread so we can tie it together)?
2) I can't say for sure. We make continuous improvements to the map and the way airspaces that are displayed. Offhand, I'm not sure exactly what airspace we're talking about (I don't have immediate knowledge of your previous discussions with us) . Can you provide a specific example of an airspace that's missing?
3) A few things: Are you running SkyView version 10.1. Some airspace display changes also require changes on the software side. Also, you might check MAP MENU > MAP ITEMS to make sure that some of the airspace types aren't being disabled at the range levels you have the map at.

You reported via e-mail that the next major release (around Oskosh) should have the Special Rules areas visible.

Will I be able to test this on the Beta version teased elsewhere on the forum?

You will not be able to test this. As mentioned, the Beta has only the one change it was meant for, and you will also need to update with a new Jepp database to get the SRA areas.

Installed version 11 software on the Skyview but still no Special Rules areas as promised.

Do I need to
1. Update Jeppesen (Running Jul14 maps)
2. Change any setup parameters

If you're on cycle 1408, I think you might need to update. I'm checking with our engineers to figure out what the first version that had those airspaces in them was.

It looks like the first update that had this data in it is cycle 1408. This is the cycle which is valid from 7/24-8/20

Also, make sure you've turned on UNKNOWN ALERT AIRSPACE in MAP MENU > MAP ITEMS
