All,
I have a Glastar Sportsman into which I'm installing a pair of 10" SV panels, with ARINC 429 and GNS430W. Due to the steel cage, my location for installing the ADAHRS unit will be behind the rear seat/cargo area. This requires a 20' SV-NET-CP cable, which I have. The drawing on page 2-11 of the current on-line manual shows a splitter being installed just after the ADAHRS, then to the ARINC 429 box. Since I'd like to install the ARINC box behind the panel, I'd like to avoid another 20' NET cable to route back to the panel area, as shown in that diagram on page 2-11.
Can I simply install a splitter right out of the SV1000 backside, and connect the ARINC box there? Or is there something else driving the location where the ARINC cables connect to the system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
