Is there any way to set a speed alarm to give a basic form of stall warning

The AOA alarm requires the AOA/Pitot. There is no standalone airspeed alarm.

Letpmar,

Have a closer look at the AOA and I am sure, once flown with one you will miss it on any aircraft not having one. If you know how to interpret, you can get much more out of a AOA than from a stall warning. We could say, that on a stall warning you only get the information about a situation which is already a fact: You are already slow and you will stall pretty soon.

On the AOA you will see much more: Regardless of your weight, you visualize always your relation to the aerodynamics. You may use it for the perfect approch, but also for best glide, best climb and if the AOA allows adjustements also for best range. I do not have the Dynon AOA hooked up, as I had already one installed when I got my first D10A, so I do not know what the setup for the Dynon AOA all allows, but it may be all I mentioned or will be close to it.

Hook it up and have a real save flight,

Kind regards

Thomas ;)
