Stampede Pass weather

I'm sure I have missed something, but I cant seem to find current weather for Stampede Pass KSMP using my ADS-B 472. It will show weather for all nearby airports, but I can't seem to find SMP. Is that because it not an "airport"? . Its good to know SMP weather when going back & forth across the Cascades.

KSMP doesn't show up in ForeFlight and it likely doesn't have its own weather station to report weather. No weather station, no report for FIS-B to send.

Correct, KSMP is not a valid airport and will not be displayed. There is a transmitting ASOS for Stampede Pass weather though, on 135.275. That can be found on the sectional chart. You can also contact Stampede Radio on 122.4.

I have no idea where KSMP is located so it wasn't possible for me to click on a nearby airport. Still not visible in that screenshot. Putting KSMP in as a destination also doesn't work. Very interesting that WX is available for an airport that isn't available. I'd suggest emailing ForeFlight to have it added.

KSMP is not an airport. It doesn't exist. There is an automated weather reporting station, but no airport. I'm not sure where the identifier "KSMP" came from but it's not valid.
