Hi,

I have two questions.

1 - I have an EFIS D100. It is recommanded to start the EFIS after the the starting of the engine.
When I turn on the master power, my efis is starting immediatly without I turn it on. So, before start the engine I must shutdown the efis. Is it correct ?

2 - How to run the brightness option on my efis ?

Thank's for all.

1) It's fine to leave the EFIS on while you start your engine. It was designed to be on during engine crank. It may reboot if the voltage drops below 10V, but this will not harm it.

2) To dim the EFIS, press any of the center 4 buttons to bring up the menu. Press "more" and then "dim". Then you can press brighter or darker to adjust it.

Hi,
Thank you for the fast reply, but I must bring further details.

About the first question.
when I turn on the master power of the aircrat (aircraft battery) my efis is turning on in the same time, and then without I turn it on. Is it correct ?

About the second.
When I ask for the brightness, I was talking about the Super-Bright Screen Option - 100% Brighter! I saw on the Oshkosh 2006 Announcements page. How to get it ?

Thank's again.

You can turn the EFIS on either before or after you start your engine. You do not need to shut the EFIS down.

You unit would need to come back for upgrade if you'd like the new super-bright screen on your unit. Please call us at 425-402-0433 to obtain return authorization if you are interested in this upgrade.
