Suggestion - fields with red X's

Just a nit-picky suggestion...there are some fields on the Engine page that show red X's when they can't compute a value (e.g., NM/Gal, Gal at WPT IIRC)...those should probably be shown as something like "---" rather than a red X (which implies a subsystem or component off-line or failed, rather than inability to compute the value) on initial startup/taxi out/etc.

Just a suggestion to keep the symbology consistent...

Concur . . . good suggestion.
My personal preference would be:
System (sensor) failure = RED "X" or RED "FAIL"
Missing/unreasonable value = "---------" (white dashes) or "?????"

It already does this. You only get a red X when an underlying sensor is also red X (or, for example, the GPS doesn't have lock so SkyView doesn't know your position to compute distance or time). You won't get a red X for fuel at destination just because you have no flight plan. We do this because it makes it a lot easier to diagnose why something isn't working. If all they ever do is dash out even when mis-configured, diagnostic work is really hard.

I generally don't see red X when my engine is off. If you are, something is up.

Hmmm...I know NM/Gal and the WPT Gal (or whatever it is labelled) showed red X's this morning, but it may not have had lock yet. I'll double-check it later today.

Yup, I stand corrected...after the system was up and getting GPS fixes (quite quickly), it did as Dynon Support stated...
