i was wondering how to properly fill the flight plan for surveillance equipment.

currently i file out:
/E
for SV-XPNDR-262 that i have installed.
cause eurocontrol states E stands for Mode S transponder with aircraft ID, pressure altitude and extended squitter (ADS-B) capability

now in EasyVFR app under plane settings there is stated E stands for Mode S with ID, Alt& ADS-B out-in 1080Mhz (conflict comes at frequency and in compatibility as the transponder itself doesn't have in capability)

on your page under transponder specification it states the transponder has ADS-B Out via 1090 ES

this indicates the frequency is different.

should i fill it rather:
/EB1 or /B1E don't know what is correct sequence or maybe
/SB1 or /B1S

as B1 stands for ADS-B with dedicated 1090 MHz ADS-B “out” capability
there is also possibility that it is one of following types
U1 - ADS-B “out” capability using UAT
V1 - ADS-B “out” capability using VDL Mode 4

please help so i can correctly fill in my flight plan next time.

Don't know if this helps but over here we file EB1 only if a Tso 145/146 Gps is connected, otherwise it's just E.

Thanks, Jake.  It's a shame that government agencies continue to publish obsolete information.  Codes have changed in 2012', but internet searches continue to turn up obsolete info.  Here's a definitive link for ICAO codes:  http://www.navcanada.ca/EN/products-and-services/On%20Board/OnBoard-Circular-35-EN.pdf

I see that a mixed mode system (UAT in, 1090ES out) is currently not defined by ICAO. This, in fact is Dynon's ADS-B implementation. I would expect this to be supported with a unique code at some point, but in the interim I'm not sure how to file this.
