Recently I have been getting a CPU TEMP HIGH message. I think I have also seen a CPU TEMP CRITICAL message. This unit has been working great for 13 years. Just started seeing these CPU TEMP issues now. Outside temperature was actually cool (60's) during today's flight when the CPU TEMP HIGH message came up.

Any suggestions on how to resolve?

Thank you...

I would contact Dynon support. They'll probably want you to send it in.

Either cooling fans aren't working or perhaps are clogged? Take a look and see if the fan inlet and outlet areas are perhaps dirty/clogged, vacuum them out. Power up on the ground and listen for sounds of failing bearings...that sort of thing.

But contact Dynon for sure...they may have additional suggestions before sending it in. Fans are mechanical devices and surely have a life limit. If that's all it is, might be an easy fix.

I have a SkyView touch in my RV 12. Do the CPU fans run continuously when the unit is on , or triggered by unit temperature?
