Some good news. I can see that the GNS 430W is communicating with the SV-ARINC-429 and the SV-ARINC-429 is communicating with the Skyview system. I did as Steve W. stated and results were good.
I then went into PFD on the Skyview and on the HSI selection I can go through "Skyview" and "GPS 1 GARMN".
On the GNS 430W I did a direct to an airport. I then when back to the Skyview/autopilot and was able to select the HSI for GPS 1 GARMN. I was able to hear the autopilot servos kick in.
Now I just need a nice day to go try this during a flight, but may be a while due to business travel.
I also went into the ARINC-429 settings and set Input 2 as NAV 1. With this setting Input 2 Labels Received is now incrementing as it does with Input 1 Labels Received.
I do have a question since this is all new to me. I am assuming that Input 1 set as GPS 1 is the GPS source from the GNS 430W and Input 2 set as NAV 1 is the VOR/Glideslope source from the GNS 430W. Is this a correct assumption?
Again, thank you so much for all your help. Just glad to see that all my connections that were may a couple of years back are correct and if I end up making any changes it will be to split channel 1 on the GNS 430W since I need Aviation Mode for the Skyview connection and I also need Aviation Mode for the Garmin 327 transponder.
