SV-BAT-320 Installation

Hi. I have an RV-7 with dual screen Skyview HDX. I want to add a second SV-BAT-320 for my right screen. Would there be an issue if I use spacers and stack them with a little bit of space in between? The picture is the installation with the current battery. I have fans on the glareshield to help dispose of any heat.

No issue, other than making it more difficult to access.

Personally I wouldn't, as the case for the battery is plastic, and it would only be held by the screws on the plastic ears of the case.
It really requires being mounted flat against structure.
In RV's, I have made up a plate onto that structure you see on the right of your photo, and mounted the battery there.

I thought he meant mounting it on spacers as opposed to on the other battery. But that's a good point. You shouldn't drill into the case or use it for structural support.
