SV-COM-425 to SV-COM_PANEL harness data wiring

The harness between the SV-COM-425 and the SV-COM-PANEL has a data TX and RX. Do these need to be shielded or at least twisted? There is not discussion in the manual that I can find. The manual does indicate shielding on other signals, i.e. audio.

No, just 22G wire is fine. You can use STP if you want to but it is not needed.

FWIW - the serial (2 wire) cable can be twisted or a shielded pair, which is also twisted by default - all standard industry practice. Safer to do it That way
