I installed a SV-COM C25 in a friends Skyview system and notice that the frequency control knob, the small and large inner one want to both tune at the same time.  I can only change frequency if I hold one knob while turning the other. A two hand operation and that is not going to fly... Almost like they are tied together.
Also what is the purpose of the arrow on the side of the com radio panel?  Surely not for flipping the frequency without a switch to do it.

Clicking the knob is what flip/flops the frequency. When you say "the arrow", do you mean the graphic that has the double-headed arrow and says push?

The knobs should turn independently. It sounds like your friend's module's knobs might be damaged in some way. Get in touch with our support team at support at dynonavionics dot com for further help with this issue.

The knob does not click to do a flip flop and I figured there was something wrong with the knob but wanted to throw the question out here first. Yes, I was referring to the double headed arrow as the knob would not make the frequency switch. I will check with support then. Thank for the quick reply.
