Hi,
I wish to fit a CS Prop Controller in addition to Skyview on a Rotax 912ULS engined aircraft. How do I solve the Tach takeoff for two separate instruments? Splitting the signal etc.
I see that the SV-EMS 221 for the Rotax912iS has an RPM output pin for a CS Prop controller but the SV EMS-220 doesn't seeem to have this pin...or have I got this wrong.

Can I simply use a SV-EMS 221 even though I am not using the injected engine?...or how can I get around the problem with the SV-EMS 220?

Thanks,
Alan

No promises, but assuming your prop controller can use the 5th trigger coil output pulse for its tach pickup, there's a good chance that you'll be able to split the 5th trigger coil pickoff to feed both SkyView and the prop controller.

The SV-EMS-221 only generates its output when there's a 912iS connected and providind tachometer information digitally, so you'll want to use the SV-EMS-220 here.

Hi Alan,

When I installed my CS Controller I split the signal to my Rockymountain uMonitor and it works like a champ. I am in the process of converting over to the Dynon engine monitor, however, I don't believe this will be an issue.
