What NMEA messages are outputted from GPS-250?
I suppose minumum RMB + GGA?
Do you support more messages for POS functionality?
What fields are parsed?
Then for NAV(GPS) functionality you are parsing BOD/APB message, right? Any other info for that? WPT?

Thanks for the good work.

For a SkyView installation, none of that information is really pertinent. As far as SkyView is concerned, the SV-GPS-250 is a 3D WAAS-enabled position source. Other popular devices that output NMEA devices are supported as well.

???
I am trying to configure a GPS receiver (which is not a dynon) to output correct messages and this information is needed.

Is this information here valid also for SV?

Of course I could do some reverse engineering and publish the results but I thought first to ask support...

The following is a list of the sentences that SkyView uses. SkyView takes those sentences and then pulls different things out from them selectively. If your devices puts out these, though, you should be OK:

Required

GPRMC
GPGGA
GPGSA

Used as a backup for some fields if not present or invalid. Not a complete replacement for any of the above.

GPBOD

Navigation information (cdi, destination, from a device with its own mapping capability)

GPRMB
GPAPB
