I wonder if I mounted the module wrong. I mounted it on about a 15 degree slant. Will that effect my receiving GPS signal? Would the signal be better if the module was installed level?
Thanks, Elmer

Observe the following guidelines when choosing a location for an SV-GPS-250 GPS Receiver module:
[ch61623] Optimal mounting location is a rigid surface on top of the aircraft.
[ch61623] Mounting location should be relatively level.
[ch61623] Avoid antenna shadows (i.e., obstructions that block the antenna’s view of the sky).
[ch61623] Do not locate the receiver within 3 feet of transmitting antennas.
[ch61623] All four of the SV-GPS-250 module’s wires should all be connected to each SkyView system display for redundancy.
The SV-GPS-250 can be mounted inside the aircraft, however some signal degradation will occur. If you are concerned with possible performance issues with the intended installation location, verify GPS functionality at that location with a temporary installation. For optimal performance, the GPS receiver must have a clear view of the sky during maneuvers.
