I am installing a single GTR 200 com radio and chose to install the SV-INTERCOM-2S.
I am connecting the intercom pin #14 (Radio 1 Audio input) to the com pin #10 (receiver Audio out hi). I'm pretty confident on this connection but not real sure about the intercom pin #25 (radio 1 mic out) and pin #12 (Radio PTT). On the com connector there is a PILOT MIC IN (PIN 17) and a COPILOT MIC IN (PIN 16). Likewise on the PTT, there is a PILOT PTT (PIN 35) AND A COPILOT PTT (PIN15) on the com connector. There is not a "radio input pin connection" for the PTT or the mic. output from the intercom, on the com connector.
I'm GUESSING that I should connect the MIC and PTT from the intercom to the Pilot Mic IN and the Pilot PTT of the comm radio?
Need clarification.
Thanks,
Jrans

We cover the basics of connecting an SV-COM-C25/X83 via an SV-INTERCOM-2S in the SkyView System Installation Guide. More definitive information for connecting a non-Dynon COM radio is the SV-INTERCOM-2S is the SV-INTERCOM-2S Installation and Pilot's User Guide, specifically Page 2-4 - SV-INTERCOM-2S to Generic COM Radio Wiring Guide.

That said, I'll try to help here.

First, the main reason for installing the SV-INTERCOM-2S is so the pilot and copilot can converse easily between themselves (through the SV-INTERCOM-2S). The pilot, and optionally the copilot, can use the COM radio, and optionally a second COM radio, through the headsets that are connected directly to the SV-INTERCOM-2S.

Some COM radios have provisions for a "mini intercom" function and two headsets - you'll have to decide which unit you want to have the headsets connected to... which unit will "manage" the headsets. If, in your installation, that's the SV-INTERCOM-2S, you won't use the copilot connections on the COM radio - the SV-INTERCOM-2S will "manage" the switching of audio from the pilot and copilot headsets to and from the COM radio.

SV-INTERCOM-2S
Pin 14 - Radio 1 Audio Input will be connected to the COM's audio output (Pin 10)
Pin 25 - Aircraft Radio 1 Mic will be connected to the COM's Pilot Microphone (Pin 17)
Pin 12 - Radio PTT will be connected to the COM's Pilot PTT (Pin 35)

I am using the SV-INTERCOM-2S Installation and Users Guide to install the unit. The pinout and description of the wiring on the PTT and Mic connection to a generic com radio is not real clear to a novice like me :-[ but your description above is VERY clear :) Thank you very much for the description and verification.
Next beer is on me.
