At the moment I install a SV system in my RV-9A. Installed is also a SV-Intercom-2S. The radio SV-COM-X83 still follows.
I have a slight humming noise in intercom depending on the brightness of the SV-D1000 displays. If I turn the display darker the hum gets louder. At 100% brightness no more hum is heard. The huming noise is not really disturbing but is it normal?

This is usually indicative of a grounding issue. Try adding a ground strap to the ground lug on the back of your SkyView display(s).

I did that, no change. The huming noise occurs between +4 and -5 in brightness and is most strongly at 0 to -2. Whereby it is not really strong and disturbing.
I want to install two SV-D1000. The two D-37 harnesses are already installed and the cable to the radio are also installed. But one SV-D1000 display is still missing (because of warranty) and also the radio SV-COM-X83 is not yet connected. Can these missing devices be the reason?

If there are loose audio connections, such as an uninstalled radio, that could be causing hum and other issues.

Was this problem ever resolved?
We are just finishing up an RV8A with a D700 and Flitecom 403 I/C. We have exactly the same problem....a high freq hum in both headsets, maybe around 400hz, that goes away only when the screen brightness is above +2 or the I/c is switched to "isolate". Have been rechecking grounds and ran a ground strap from the avionics ground buss to the D700 casing. Still there. Is there another solution?

You need a really good ground from your D700 to your Intercom. Get a really good ground between the two of those, not between the D700 and a different ground. You can start with just a 14 gauge or higher wire pressed to the D700 case and the intercom case to prove it before you do more work to make it permanent.
