How can I adjust the VOX level for EACH mic separatelly?

The problem is that by adjusting the sqelch, the pilot mic adjusted OK, copilot does not open by VOX. if copilot VOX adjusted OK, than pilot mic is allways open!
tried to switch the headsets, other type etc.
I need to adjust the mic gain of one of the inputs.

Some headsets have mic gain adjustment capability, maybe yours has ?

There is no individual adjustment of VOX levels- you need to adjust your mic gain on your headsets to be the same. Different mic gains will also cause issues with your COM radio, so it really is a good idea to get them balanced.

well, how can I balance them? and that means any other headset needs to be balanced or? btw after swaping the headsets the issue is persistant, meaning that the inputs should be balanced?! Am I getting this wrong or maybe my Inercom unit is to be replaced or it is like this with everyone?

Every aviation headset I have seen has a mic gain knob somewhere on it. You'll need to look at the instructions for your headset to find out how to do this.

However, if you swap your headsets from pilot to co-pilot or vice versa and the issue follows where they are plugged in, not which headset you are using, then something else is up. It could be the intercom, or it could be the wiring.

sure, I do the swapping by plugging the headsets!
as well using other pair of headsets - all of them do work fine on other planes.
and the audio level when speaking on the intercom and tx sounds ok - just the VOX level needed is different, so the wiring is propper...
what do you think?

If it were me I'd check co pilots mic wiring, you say the headsets work in other planes so it's reasonable to assume the 'issue' is in your plane. An example - in a recent troubleshooting audio issue (wiring done 6 years ago) I found that pax phone audio (mono) wire had been wired to the stereo side, as he had mono headsets it resulted in a very low audio level. We fixed the wiring & problem went away.
In your case it could be something simple that you missed - these things can happen

I do checked the wiring, ( the plane is factory built 2014 Pipistrel Virus SW). The audio is heard excelent both on intercom and TX to ATC from both sides. Only VOX ( squelch) level is different ...

Solution to the problem :

NEW Intercom Unit - works as advertised.

The old one was defective from factory. :'(

Uhhh - not again !

Six month since replacement - exactly the same problem!
VOX levels are misaligned.

What's the problem Dynon?
Both headsets I use are BOSE A20,
The Dynon system was factory installed by world class aircraft manufacturer - Pipistrel

Is it some capacitor that dries in six months?
Am I the only one having this issue?

It's not (just) the money- it's the challenge of solving it

You're not the only one. We're just starting to see that there are a few customers that are experiencing this. Sorry for the repeat issue here.
