SV-Mag mounting location RV-6

Does anyone have experience mounting the remote magnetometer in this location? Is it generally from from magnetic interference? This is a much easier mounting location than the wing tip for this plane. This is the tail of my RV-6a.

I didn't build my RV-6 but it does have the magnetometer mounted in the tail section as shown. Note the nylon mounting hardware.
You are correct - mounting in this location keeps it away and clear from magnetic interference caused by antennas, other equipment, etc.

Great, thanks for the picture! I will definitely order some nylon mounting hardware next.
