Is it possible to use more than one SV-NET-HUB in a system ?

Is this a passive device ... ie basically just wire splicing ?

Thanx

Yes, and Yes.

SV-NET-HUB is totally passive - just traces on a printed circuit board connecting all the Pin 1s, Pin 2s, etc.

I have a hub behind the baggage compartment with two ADAHRS, and both Servos plugged in.  This way, only one network cable runs to instrument panel where another hub has the the rest of the SKYVIEW components installed.  One thing to keep in mind would be to plug both SKYVIEWS (if you have two) into the forward hub independently instead of the rear hub cable into one skyview and then another cable to the next display and then on to the forward hub.  This way, if you remove one display, the other display is still connected to the net.

That was the original design intent when i designed the original network hub (AXIS-9A) that Dynon so shamelessly copied. I also designed a 25 pin version (AXIS-25A) that connects all of the other SkyView pins together and connects to other avionics devices. I see AFS/Dynon have improved on that with their integrated hub.

For the DIY crowd, these are still available from MakerPlane, but the writing is on the wall... Send Dynon/AFS a big check and they will do everything you need. This is a good thing because it makes it easier to build an aircraft and reduces the intimidation factor of figgerin' out how to plumb the electrons.
