I am just thinking out loud, and hoping something like this comes out :D

here is my idea, dynon could make a panel that is user configurable, to suit every user individually. on this panel there could be one knob and at perhaps 6 user configurable buttons for user "favorites" or buttons that are very frequently used by the user. this panel would then have its own settings on skyview to configure individual button and actions. like one could set knob to be default baro and after you press any other buttons that would needs knob it would change the knob to that function and it would then return back to default setting or even this could be user definable:) a lot of possibilities for user configurations. you could even have next page button to increase favorites buttons... and a lot more

i prepared two different possible options, one with touch screen and one with hard buttons with integrated small screens (as some of the computer keyboards already have)

and here is a concept of hard buttons and a keyboard sample:

what you think would you buy it ;D

I would love to have my own personalized softkeys. How about having it right now without new hardware.

Have a key sequence that gives us our own personal set of soft key menus. Maybe hold down btns 2 and 3 simultaneously for a half second. This takes us to 8 soft keys we can customize. Well, i guess 7 since one of them would probably be "Back".

My problem is that even 7 is not enough for me. ;)

How about a 5% strip down one or both sides of the screen on the SkyView touch that are user programmable?

No extra hardware involved, mand it is an effective use of touch techology.
