SV Touch - zoom - strange behaviour

I have a SV Touch and when I tap on the + on the screen then it zooms in "endlessly" to max. Tapping the - it zooms out to max. Very strange. Is this intended?

No. It should zoom incrementally when tapped, or a continious zoom if held down. Three things you could do to troubleshoot. First, move the map to a different part of the display and see if it still has the problem. Second, go to LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP -> TOUCH TEST and see if the touch function otherwise works normally. And Third, take a video of what you see happening and send it in to our Tech Support folks at support(at)dynonavionics.com.
