I had now about 4 total failures of my SV1000, different Display units.
Before, 2 Years of use, no issues. Since updating to firmware 10.1, those issues happens.

Watch the Video: https://vimeo.com/98585594

Those Screen freezes independant if I made an input to it or not. It happens from 10 Minutes after take-off until 1:30h after. Switching off or any other push, No effect.
Removing Power switches to the StbyBat and the Display remains on.
Everytime, after about 10 Minutes, the Display switched off and boots again - I dont know if this was because have pushed the left button.

Before, the German distributer told me, thats a hardware problem of the replacement-unit (I had this because of an update-failure from 10.0, so I got his unit until repair was finished). The replacementunit was an older age, and there were problems which are solved with the newer ones, he told me.
Now I have to learn, that even on newer units as mine that happens.
I got back this unit from the factory as new and I had to deal with an frozen screen - UNACCAPABLE!

If somebody has issues like that, please reply in order to find out the cause.
Thanks

The only problem I have seen recently, after the 10.1 install is that the serial data for EMS and GPS do not always reach my VP unit without a need to reboot the display. Usually occurs when the second display comes online, I can not duplicate when there is one display powered on, either one, but when both are powered on there seems to be some issues. Never had this problem prior to 10.1. I have both displays setup per dynons dual connections instructions for serial rx and tx.

No frozen screens however.

ChrisBOM: This is indeed unacceptable. One thing we'd like you to know is that pressing buttons 1,2,and 5 simultaneously will reboot the screen no matter what has gone wrong. That key combination is basically like the "reset" key and operates below the normal software level. But obviously you shouldn't have to do that. Can you get in touch with our support team directly so we can learn more about these incidents? They're available at 425-402-0433 or at support at dynonavionics dot com.

Since the last 30h of flight no issue concerning frozen screen. I avoided pushing and usin the MAP-function, so the problem is related to this.
