Looked over the instalation manual, but I've got one question regarding my upcoming swap. I understand that pins 5 and 7 on the -261 will connect to serial port connections on both of my displays. But currently, I have the serial TX and RX from the GTX327 going to the Dynon displays and also connected to the GNS430W serial ports. Does this GTX-to-430W connection now get severed?

Current wiring set-up enclosed...

Any insights would be appreciated.

Assuming you're not going to keep the 327 - you won't end up having a direct connection from the SV-XPNDR-261 and the 430W once you transition. So I think the answer to your question (If I'm reading it correctly) is yes, it'll get severed.

If you use the 430W as your position source instead of the SV-GPS-2020 then you need a serial connection from the 430W to the SV-XPNDR-261 see page 11-7 of the latest install manual.

Correct, my plan is to sell the GTX327 while it has some residual value. I currently do not have the GPS-2020 and was planning to use the 430W as my position source. So if I'm hearing this right, the only connection from the 430W to the XPNDR will be to pin 3 with the 1.21k ohm resistor and Pins 5 and 7 from the XPNDR will no longer be connected to the 430W, only to the two SV screens.

Just needed some clarification. Thanks for the info.
