System 5 event

Today while flying got the message that there had been system 5 error on my D1000 serial # 7726 that is using current software. I have the diagnostic file on a thumb drive. What next?  Thanks.

Thanks Jake. I had done that and was hoping that if it was just a one time event it was no big deal instead of a hardware problem that required the unit going back to Dynon.

Mine logged just a single system 5 event. Then within a few days it started logging 1 per flight, then 2 per flight. Sent it in and it's been fine after spending some time in the Dynon Hospital

When I checked about it initially I was told that it was not urgent to send it in, but eventually I would need to since it won't get better on it's own.

So far I have only had the single event. Have flown 2.5 hrs since. Dynon gave me an RMA number but am trying to hold off sending it in until I do my IFR check ride. With my luck it will lock up during the ride.
