System event 3 and system event 12

Hello,

A friend of mine encountered message "System event 3+ 12" while he was starting his SkyView installation. The system rebooted itself. My first idea is to reinstall the last version of software and EMS. Could you please confirm this action will be efficient. What could produce this type of failure?  :-?

You can't really reinstall software on SkyView in the way you're thinking (you can upgrade, of our course - and you should definitely update to the latest version if that system isn't on the latest version). Fundamentally, System Event messages are letting you know that the system has encountered an issue. The Event 3 jives with the restart that he saw, and 12 means that for some reason, the system configuration had been lost and that defaults were re-applied. Did this happen to happen right after a software upgrade? If so, continue with setup and see if happens again. If not, have him get in touch with our support department directly at either support at dynonavionics dot com or 425-402-0433 for further help with this.

Many thanks for your explanation, this didn't happen after an update. The system was working perfectly for a while.
I will go to update software with latest version.
