Have a O-320 with factory installed tach leads on the right mag. How do I hook this up to the D-120? Will try to attach a photo. I did send a photo to the support/dynon. Could not attach a photo to this email. I do have it in the Browse area but will not attach?

Other option attach to the P leads. Cannot locate the 30 K ohm resistors from Dynon. Can they be purchased from Radio Shack? Then what do I do with the factory tach leads?

Re: Tach leads

Take a good look in your installation manual. The Dynon connection to the mag is at the other end of this wire where it connects to the mag/ignition switch. The good news is that those connections are likely ring or spade terminals and therefore much easier to work with. They are already on the cockpit side of the firewall saving a bit more work.

Re:  Tach leads

If you use that tach transducer, you won't be using the p-leads.

If you use the p-leads, you won't use that tach transducer.

You can get the resistors at Radio Shach.  Just get the closest value they have to 30k.

Most transducers come with directions on how to wire them.
