Greetings,
Does anyone else have this issue or can help me fix it?
At one point in the last year my temperature indications when viewed on the Savvy website for no apparent reason started showing up as C instead of F. All of the temp indications on the Dynon screens are displayed in F and they have always been that way.
At first I thought it was because of a revision to the SkyView software that made the change but I now think it is being caused at Savvy.
I know I am not going crazy because back in 2018 I installed a thermocouple probe in my engine compartment and the next flight was three hours long and the Dynon indication showed 190 F to 210 F and when I uploaded the user data to Savvy the line showed up on the chart as 190 F to 210 F and the side bar showed "COWL TEMP (deg F)".
Then in the last year for some unknown reason three temperature indications (oil temp, TIT, and this COWL temperature) suddenly showed up as C on the chart but CHTs and EGTs were still showing up as F. So fine I can go into the unit conversions and change those three indications to show "C to F" and the lines on the chart show as F...and when you click the screen the box pops up and it it shows "190F" ...however... the side bar still shows "COWL TEMP (deg C)" but I would prefer it to show "COWL TEMP (deg F)" but no big deal.
THEN...
On the Savvy website I go back to that flight in 2018 and the COWL TEMP is showing up as C even though I know in the past it ALWAYS showed up as F but now that 190 F line on the Savvy chart is showing as 91 C. I confirmed that the unit conversion for that indicator is still "C to F" but there is no way the temperature in the engine compartment is only 91 F.
Does anyone know what is going on or have any experience/ suggestions?
THANKS for your help!!!
