I have a Skyview system in my Velocity RG and have an issue with several of my EMS indicators reading higher than nominal readings, depending on electrical load applied. An example is, I can increase my oil temp several degrease while the gear pump is running and then it drops back down when it is stopped. This is a composite airframe with the battery in the nose and I am running, what I thought to be adequate size cables for both ground and power. Any ideas what to try next? I have 2 gauge cable for the alternator output as well as the ground cable to the engine mount.

This is indicative of a grounding issue.

Likely the sensors you're seeing the increase on are the ones that use the engine block as a ground return, such as the temp sensors.

Did you connect one of the ground wires of the SV-EMS-220 to the main ground connection of the engine block?
