Any idea, how to toggle the SV-COM-X38 radio frequency tuning step setting 8.33-yes/no without HDX display?
We decided to exchange the old radio with a new 8.33 capable radio now, but will wait until next season with the rest of the panel modernization. Should be no problem because the manual sais the COM/Panel combo is self contained "...can be used when SkyView is powered off or has failed" and "The default tuning step (channel size) for the SV-COM-X83 is 8.33 kHz, not the traditional 25 kHz for aviation communications."
But unfortunately the factory setting is 25 kHz tuning steps, not 8.33 kHz what the manual says. We checked with another set of boxes that this wrong setting seems to be the default.
Dynon, is there an undocumented button combination on the SV-COM-PANEL please to toggle? Which other options do we have to change permanently to 8.33-yes ('wait until you purchased the HDX display' will not be accepted [ch128512])?
