Hats off for providing both touch screen and knobs. I have your touch screen Skyview for a Rans 20 we are building.

But, last week I experienced moderate turbulence several times in our 210. It was annoying to problematic to use my iPad (touch screen only). If there were "buttons" on the ipad, I surely would have used them as it jumped around a bit!

Very few of my flights are as smooth as glass, therefore I think I'll stay with buttons only.  ;) Usually when I'm in cruse there's no need to change anything anyway, but that's just me. To have access to both maybe a plus to meany.

I have about 2 yrs of flying now with the Garmin touch screen 750. Although it has a knob for use in turbulance, I have never used it. The finger rests that Garmin provides on the edge work perfect. The larger Dynon touch screen may not be the same. Worth noting that I have experienced problems using the knobs on each side of the skyview in turbulance
