I have 10" Skyview - V13 software, 262 transponder - SW02.06, 250 gps. Just installed Stratux dual channel system for my iPod.
I thought my SV system, 1090 ES out triggered each in range ground station. I see in the FlyQ EFB that the ground stations have reported.
I'm confused that I've seen visually several traffic A/C with nothing on the iPad or Dynon. I've also seen traffic on the Dynon much before on the iPad. I also see UAT traffic on the iPad/Stratux just as I had hoped.
Is this because of not being 91.227 compliant? Just poor reception on the Stratux antenna? Would a 978 antenna mounted on the bottom of the fuselage make a big improvement. Should i and how do i revert to SW 02.02?
I just got an FAA ADS-B Aircraft Operation Compliance Report for a flight on 1/13/16, airborne 1090. I got 100% Fail on NACv, SIL, SDA. I think each of these is set to 0 with out the ability to change, correct??
Next to getting an IFR ticket or brain surgery, ADS B is the most confusing topic to come along. I did some searching on the forum, but hear is the question directly.
