Transponder TNC connector

On the instructions it says the TNC connector is not supplied and it shows a link to aircraft spruce for the connector. Is it anything special or will a ergular tnc to bnc setup (like below) workOK...thx Tom

A TNC to BNC adapter will work, but generally, it's best to avoid adapters and have native connectors on the coax.
