Get XPNDR FAIL message. I've checked all the wiring but don't see that it's not wired correctly. Where do I start looking for the problem?

Did it work prior to this? How long? Was a temporary problem or did it stay? Did you pull a Diagnostic file within 1 hour (panel time) of getting the message?

It's a new install. Dynon Skyview HDX with Dynon SV-XPNDR-261. It hasn't worked yet. I'm apparently not tech savvy enough to pull a Dianostic file?

XPNDR FAIL means generally means that it's not seeing the transponder at all. If you've been through the wiring, we can certainly check it out here to help you figure out whether or not it's the unit or something more subtle in the wiring. Give our support team at 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com.
