Hello,

I have a skyview d1000 and got one issue with my transponder. It was working correctly before...
Transponder is connected and is visible on serial port 1, and communication with dynon looks ok (i got tx and rx package without errors), my transponder code is green on the main screen, but in flight i'm not detected, by the radar...
I have a warning message" TX power low (0)" and on the transponder setup page, it states that the transponder sv xpndr 261 is not installed...? but on the serial port setup, i got a sv xpndr 262 connected... transponder is visible only on port setup page? not on network page?

what is the root cause or meaning of the TX power low (0) message?

tanks in advance for your help, and regards
guillaume

So the 261 not installed message has to to with US-only ADS-B Out 2020 rule compliance. Only the -261 is eligible, so if you do not have a -261 that page will tell you that you are not compliant with the rule because you do not have a qualifying transponder. This has nothing to do with your issue.

The Low TX Power means that for some reason, your transponder is not able to send out the power it is expecting to emit though the antenna. The vast majority of the time this means that your connection to your antenna has an issue (at a connector, broken coax, etc). So that's the first thing to check, and thoroughly.

It's possible that it's the transponder module itself, but it's rare.
