Trim adjustments during A/P operation

Just getting started with the tuning process on the SV system autopilot. During TRK+ALT operation, I dial in a new TRK and she rolls fine. During the roll I get a bit of climb/decend action as well as some cautions for trimming the pitch, despite being well-trimmed prior to the course change.

Are pitch trims typical during the turns? With more tuning will they be reduced/eliminated?

Thanks

Hi,
The AP pulls to hold altitude in turns, requiring more force from the servos.  This may result in the trim indicator coming on.  It should not gain or lose much rolling into or out of a turn once the pitch settings are dialed in.

Trim indications during the roll in/roll out may be reduced once it's tuned.  Trim indications steady state may indicate that you need to increase torque somewhat.

Also, looking at the user data, the pitch and roll servos show servo force numbers in the +15 to -28 range. I can't find any details of what that value means (is it equivalent to % of available force?)

Anyone know?

Thanks
