I switched both fuel and oil pressure senders to Kavlico. I changed the fuel pressure last year due to inconsistent reading with the VDO sender. The readings from the Kavlico were consistent but did not seem entirely accurate. Last week, I saw very high oil pressure readings at throttle and idle on my 80 hour old Superior engine. Given the high failure rate of the VDO sensors, I decided to change out the oil pressure sensor. After hooking the new sensor up, I was greeted with a red "---" on the screen. I then checked the voltage to the units; 4.4 volts. I turned the unit off and on several times and continued to see 4.4 volts except for one instance when I saw 5.0. During all testing, both units were unplugged. The units share common 5+ and ground. Both grounds were power and ohmed tested and passed. The fuel pressure sending wire (green on sender) is showing 4.4+ volts also. The oil pressure sending wire (green on sender) is not showing any voltage. The unit is running version 5.5.0. Please advise.
