I have my G430W tied to my D100/HS34/AP74 autopilot system. When I am flying an RNAV approach, all the turns on the approach plate that lead into the turn onto final perform "turn anticipation." I can see the dotted anticipation turn on the 430W and the autopilot flies the anticipation course. But, the turn onto the final approach course never gives me turn anticipation and the autopilot flies through the final approach course before it turns back to intercept. Why doesn't the turn to the final approach course have the turn anticipation?

Does it do it on all approaches, or a particular one (what's an example of one)? Are you positive you're not doing vectors to final?

The GNS does not do the same GPSS output like the GTN, so I expect this is the issue.
You can tighten up the settings but it is a GNS output I reckon.

Yes, Im certain Im not doing vectors to final. Its just peculiar I get turn anticipation on all the other turns depicted on the approach plate except for the turn on the final approach course. I will go find some other LOC approaches and see if I get the same thing.
OK, well I did the same approach yesterday, but I approached the inbound course from the other side. I dont think that really matters in any way. On this approach, the 430 showed the turn anticipation and the autopilot did execute the turn anticipation. Just wanted to close the loop on this. Its nothing I am going to troubleshoot further.
