Twin engine EMS inputs

When you install a second EMS, the install manual only references utilizing the additional EGT/CHT inputs.

Can ALL of the general purpose inputs be used? So, can I have 24 or so useable general purpose inputs?

Furthermore, is there any way to interface inputs like flaps, gear position, other indicators that would not normally have a wire running out to the nacelle with the SV system WITHOUT running a bunch of wires out to the nacelles?

Thanks,

So how about all of the other inputs? I’m guessing you can’t put a THIRD EMS behind the panel for inputs that wouldn’t otherwise need to be run to the nacelles (gear, flaps, fuel quantity, door indicators, pitot heat indicator, pneumatic pressure, etc. that all reside only in the fuselage), or can you run a third one just for the GP inputs?

No the software for twins only supports to ema units. You’re going to have to run some wires. You can probably ask Dynon to purchase wire they would match up to the 37 pin ems harness
